Who we are

The Brahma Kumaris is a nonsectarian, non-governmental organization. We welcome people from all walks of life, religion, race or creed. Through meditation, we seek to help people rediscover goodness from within and encourage the development of spiritual awareness, attitude and behavior. Brahma Kumaris Meditation courses and spiritual programs are offered in over 8,000 centers across 130 countries.

In the Philippines, the Brahma Kumaris Philippines Spiritual Foundation, Inc. was established in 1985. It is governed by a Board of Trustees that provides the appropriate policies and directions for the effective and efficient operations of the organization. The Brahma Kumaris Philippines is a recipient of the UN Peace Messenger Award.

Our spiritual headquarters in Mount Abu, Rajasthan India has a general consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations, in consultative status with UNICEF, and affiliated to the UN Department of Public Information.

The Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University Phil. Foundation, Inc. helps people to rediscover their intrinsic spirituality and goodness, encouraging and facilitating the development of spiritual awareness, attitudes, behaviors and skills through a process of lifelong learning.

Values

Our consciousness affects our values. Our values form the basis of our actions which in turn determine the nature and extent of our contribution and impact to the society in which we live. The Brahma Kumaris in the Philippines continues to explore the connection between the consciousness of the individual as well as its collective effect on our precious world.
